Language Focus: Connection not Perfection Tips

  1. Develop a culture of thinking: expose yourself to news, movies, music, conversations, etc.. and get ideas in your head, and things to connect with other people about.
  2. Focus on getting your point across: string together words to communicate what you need and don’t worry about knowing everything or even the perfect words.
  3. Teach someone something else in English, or learn something in English.
