Language Focus: What to talk about with your Conversation Partner

There are a lot of things you can talk about with your conversation partner! You can practice small talk with unimportant (non-controversial) topics to begin with, and as you get to know a person a little more begin asking for personal questions. Consider the following topics to talk about:

  • hobbies/free time, pets, interests, job, travel experiences, and travel plans, family life, friends, work, where you live, your studies….

Episode 7: Music Chat

Today we get into music and you’ll hear Jennifer and Dan talk about their music likes, how it affects their daily routines, as well as hear some of their music recommendations!
